Special Event : Kizomba Workshop - Lady Leaders Part 2
When: Sunday May 1st, 5pm - 9pm
Where: NEW VENUE! Bicycle Brothers Coffee 162 Arnett Blvd, Rochester, NY 14619
What: 2 hours of workshops and a practice social !
Cost: $40 in advance, $50 at the door
This is an opportunity for my ladies to take matters into your own hands and learn how to LEAD!
We offered one workshop of this nature in April and it is back by popular demand. You did NOT have to participate in the first workshop to attend this one, but we hope you will return if you did catch the first one!
We will dedicate 2 hours to workshops - our first hour will be an extension of what we covered last time - everything from embrace, posture, leading the basics, directional change, and finding your intention. Hour two - we will focus on more musicality, some tarraxinha and body movement basics, how to improv and how to lead with confidence.
Goal? I want you to leave this workshop empowered to invite other ladies to dance!
After our workshops, the coffee bar will open for 30 minutes of refreshments for sale: coffee, teas, pizza, bagels and more will be available !
After our workshops, we invite you to stay and dance for our social - 2 hours of music to apply what you have learned and mingle with other participants. (Non-workshop guests (men welcome!) are also invited to attend our social for $5).
