What: 2 hours of workshops and a practice social !
Cost: $40 in advance
This is an opportunity for anyone and everyone to grow your empathy, your clarity and technique in kizomba!
The goal of this workshop is to learn the 'other role' - men will be invited to follow, women will be invited to lead!
We will dedicate 2 hours to workshops - our first hour will be breaking down the basics in your 'new role' - everything from embrace, posture, leading and following the basics, directional change, and finding your intention.
Hour two - we will focus on more of the subtleties and technique to effective leading and following. Expect a few fun exercises to get things flowing.
Goal? I want you to leave this workshop empowered and enlightened in the nuances of both roles in kizomba!
After our workshops, the coffee bar will open for 30 minutes of refreshments for sale: coffee, teas, pizza, bagels and more will be available !
After our workshops, we invite you to stay and dance for our social - 2 hours of music to apply what you have learned and mingle with other participants. (Non-workshop guests (all are welcome!) are also invited to attend our social for $5).
