Beginner Fundamentals Zouk Beginner Fundamentals and Intro to Connection
BOOM CHIK CHIK BOOM! As the Brazilian Zouk scene continues to heat up in New York, the US, and around the globe, so does it's participants, who can't seem to get enough of this dance. NYC has always been home to great dancers, teachers, and instructors, and now we are bringing back Jessica and Kevin from ZENZOUK NYC to inspire you to ZOUK your way through life. Saturday Evening workshops will comprise of the 7 BASIC moves you need to know to begin dancing Brazilian Zouk. Using techniques from Henri Velandia's ZENZOUK method, they will help you explore ways to get you started dancing as fast as you can blink. It only takes 7 to start making waves; sprinkle it with some inspiration, and you will walk away with some ZENZOUK magic!!

Spicing up your style!! - Playing with Combos and Deepening the Connection
In this workshop you will learn how to breathe easier by playing with steps and various combos on the dance floor. One of the main principles in ZENZOUK is connection and breath. Jessica and Kevin will go deeper into the principles by teaching various combos and providing technique and styling tips. After the weekend is over your NEW JOURNEY will begin in playing with the 7!! ** Note you can take this workshop independent of the Saturday workshop, yet the teachings will be a continuation from Saturday.
